Executions are the unit n8n uses to price its plans, so counting expected executions is how to choose a plan. Other tools bill by different units. n8n’s own pricing page contrasts executions with the operations or tasks that other products bill. When comparing prices across tools, convert each to the same real-world volume, such as the number of customer messages handled in a month.
