What Xero does

Xero’s Philippines page describes it as “the all-in-one to get your business done” and lists invoicing, accepting online payments, bill payments, purchase orders, expense claims, bank reconciliation, payroll, project tracking, mileage tracking, quotes and fixed asset management. It also describes an AI finance partner called JAX. Which features apply depends on the plan and the add-ons you buy.

Plans and prices

Peso figures below are conversions of Xero’s dollar prices and are approximate. The “first three months” column is an introductory price shown to new Philippine customers.

Add-ons listed on the page: employee expense and mileage claims from US$4 a month, and project time and cost tracking from US$7. Auto-reconciliation is a US$5 a month add-on on Lite and Starter. The page does not state the number of users or bank-feed limits for any plan. Subscriptions renew monthly.

What the Philippines page does not say

The page does not mention:

  • Philippine pesos as a billing currency.
  • BIR forms, VAT or other Philippine tax rules.
  • Which Philippine banks provide bank feeds.

This is a list of what that page left out, not a claim that Xero lacks these. Ask Xero or an accountant in writing whether the plan you want produces the records and tax reports your filings need. A BIR filing tool is a different category. See accounting software in the Philippines compared for tools built around BIR forms.

How Xero connects to other tools

Xero states that it connects to 1,000+ apps. Xero also runs a developer site at developer.xero.com. Its terms and limits were not readable for this page, so check them if a developer will build on it.

A workflow tool such as n8n or Zapier can sit between Xero and other systems, for example creating an invoice when a deal closes. Check the tool’s own app directory for a Xero connection and the actions it supports. The workflow automation guide explains how to choose the first process to automate.

What to plan for

Dollar pricing. The monthly bill follows the exchange rate. Your card issuer may add a foreign-currency fee, which Xero does not publish.

Invoice and bill limits. Lite and Starter cap invoices, and Lite has no bill entry. A business that sends more than 20 invoices a month needs Standard or above on the page’s limits.

Price rise. The page says prices go up from 1 November 2026. Check the figure at checkout.

Tax and filings. Confirm BIR requirements with your accountant. This site does not give tax advice.
