Each vendor’s page describes the same core: an AI starting point, a visual editor, hosting and a free or bundled domain on paid plans. The differences are in the free tier, how AI use is metered, what is billed in pesos, and what comes with a store.

Read the terms. Hostinger says “All plans are paid upfront”, and its 48-month figure is the total divided by 48 months. The renewal price is higher. Squarespace’s page showed a promotional “30% off” tag, and it was not stated whether the PHP figures include that discount. Wix did not state its billing term in the text read. A like-for-like monthly cost needs the same term and the same promotion status for each.
Free tiers
- Wix. The Free plan lists reliable web hosting, the drag and drop editor and thousands of templates, with no credit card required.
- Framer. The Free plan lists 500 AI credits to try, a free Framer domain and 1 GB of bandwidth.
- Durable. The Free plan lists an SEO-optimized website ready to go live, 300 credits, and a CRM for up to 10 customers.
- Squarespace and Hostinger. Squarespace offers a 14-day free trial. Hostinger lists a 30-day money-back guarantee and no free plan.
A free plan is for testing a draft. Whether a free site can use your own domain varies and was not confirmed for each builder, so read the plan table.
Domains, local payments and a local option
Domains. Wix, Squarespace, Hostinger and Durable’s Launch plan each mention a free or credited domain in the first year. The pages read do not say whether a .ph domain is included, so check the domain you want before you buy.
Payments on the site. If your site takes payment, the builder’s store tools and a Philippine payment route both matter. Squarespace lists online store transaction fees by plan, and Shopify’s own page lists a fee on third-party payment providers. See Shopify in the Philippines and GCash for business. PayMongo’s pricing page lists GCash, Maya, GrabPay and QR Ph rates, all “exclusive of VAT”.
A Philippine store builder. PayMongo’s pricing page also lists “PayMongo Storefront”, described as a “Branded online store builder for small businesses”, at PHP 349 a month, with extra AI credits at PHP 50 for 3 credits. It was not read in detail, so it is mentioned only as an option to look up.
Where a built site still needs a person
AI drafts do not know your business. Plan for a person to:
- Check every price, address, hour and claim.
- Add the legal and policy pages your business needs. If the site collects names and contact details, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies, and a privacy notice is part of that. This site does not advise on its content.
- Connect the domain, the business email and payments, and test an order or an inquiry.
- Replace stock photos and generic phrases with real ones, and keep claims you can prove.
