What QuickBooks Online is
QuickBooks Online runs in a browser. Intuit’s Philippine pages group its tools into accounting, invoicing, tax, expenses and advanced reporting. They describe “automated bank feeds”, “automated bookkeeping” and an “Intuit Intelligence” layer of accounting AI, which sorts expenses into categories. A mobile app and a receipt-capture feature are also listed.
Intuit’s Philippine home page lists a tax area headed “Stay ready for filing”. Its features page lists a VAT feature that organizes “expenses into tax categories” and tracks “sales tax on income and expenses”. It also lists a VAT Calculator. Neither page that was read names a Philippine tax form, such as a BIR return or withholding certificate, so this page does not say that QuickBooks produces one. Ask Intuit or your accountant which Philippine reports each plan supports before you commit.
Plans and prices in pesos
Intuit’s Philippine pricing page shows peso amounts, and says: “Prices shown in PHP for convenience”, and that you will be “billed in US dollars (USD)”. The page gives the exchange-rate provider as Exchange Rate API. Intuit’s own peso figures are quoted below as published, so they are not converted again on this page.
| Plan | Users | List price a month (PHP, as shown) | Offer price shown for the first 6 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simple Start | 1 | PHP 1,319.36 | PHP 131.94 |
| Essentials | 3 | PHP 1,947.63 | PHP 194.76 |
| Plus | 5 | PHP 2,890.03 | PHP 289 |
| Advanced | 25 | PHP 5,591.57 | PHP 559.16 |

Every plan says “plus access for your accountant”. The page headline offer on 12 Oct 2026 was “90% off for 6 months”, with two other offer types on the same selector: “50% off for 12 months” and a 30-day free trial. Offers change, and the page states the list price that applies after the offer period. This page does not predict when an offer ends.
Because billing is in dollars, the pesos you pay depend on your bank’s or card issuer’s rate and fees on the day. The peso figures on Intuit’s page use Intuit’s own rate source, so they can differ from the ECB-based figures used elsewhere on this site.
What each plan lists
| Plan | Features the page lists beyond the basics |
|---|---|
| Simple Start | Accounting AI, AI-powered bank feeds, automated bank feeds, automated bookkeeping, income and expenses |
| Essentials | Adds multiple currencies and AI-powered collaboration (labelled beta) |
| Plus | Adds anomaly detection and Customer AI |
| Advanced | Adds Finance AI, Project Management AI and revenue recognition |
Intuit’s features page also compares chart-of-accounts size (250 accounts on the first three plans, unlimited on Advanced), custom fields, class and location tracking, and the “Data sync with Excel” and “Integrate with hundreds of apps” lines under its Connected Platform heading. Read that table for the line you need.
What connects to QuickBooks
Two connection routes are described on Intuit’s pages:
- Bank feeds. The pages say connecting a bank gives “a full view of your finances” and reduces errors.
- Apps and Excel. The features page lists integration with “hundreds of apps” and data sync with Excel. Which apps work with a Philippine company file was not checked here, so look up each one.
For automation around an accounting system, a general tool such as Zapier or n8n can pass records between a store, a payment tool and QuickBooks, if each has a connector for your plan. The GCash for business guide covers the step before that, how payment records reach a sheet or accounting system. Excel automation covers the spreadsheet route. Odoo is an alternative that bundles accounting with sales and inventory and lists Philippine tax reports in its own documentation.

What to plan for
Billing is in US dollars. Peso figures on the page are for convenience. Check your card’s conversion fee.
Tax and accounting decisions stay with professionals. This page does not advise on accounting or tax. Which plan and setup a Philippine business needs for BIR registration, VAT and withholding is a question for an accountant. Certification and courses belong to AI Training Philippines.
Data privacy. Books hold customer, supplier and payroll details. The Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies to the business. Check where Intuit stores data and what its terms say, and see the National Privacy Commission points in the pillar guide.
AI features need review. The AI categorisation Intuit describes suggests entries. A person should check them before they reach a return. See human in the loop.
