Meta’s rules apply to any Messenger bot
ManyChat runs inside Meta’s messaging platform, and Meta’s policy sets what a Page can send. From Meta’s Messenger Platform policy overview:
- A business has up to 24 hours to respond after a user action opens the standard window, such as sending a message to the Page. Promotional content is allowed in that window.
- Message tags allow important, personally relevant one-to-one updates outside the window, but only for approved use cases. Using tags outside them may restrict the ability to send messages.
- The Human Agent tag allows manual responses within 7 days.
- Sponsored Messages can be sent outside the window and must follow advertising policies.

Chatfuel in brief
Chatfuel is another builder for the same kind of work. Its pricing page lists a Business plan at US$18 a month billed yearly (about PHP 1,131) and Agency S at US$90 a month billed yearly (about PHP 5,654), both with a free trial and no credit card required. Who it suits
ManyChat suits sellers who take orders and questions through Messenger and want a visual builder with connectors to the tools above. Whether a plan fits depends on contact counts and channels, which could not be read. Businesses that need Viber or a website help desk can compare the options on the platform comparison page.
Setup path
- Connect the Page. The Page owner links it to the tool and grants the permissions it asks for.
- Build a first flow. Start with one flow that answers one question and collects one detail.
- Test. Send messages from a personal account that is not an admin and check that the flow behaves inside the 24-hour window.
